The Rise and Fall of the Monkey-Goblin

First off, I want to thank everyone at Coast to Coast AM for putting a link up to the post I made about the story about the captures creature in Mexico and mentioning the blog on air. Thanks a lot. Joshua P. Warren returned to the show in the third hour and discussed the story further. Mr. Warren did seem a little perplexed as to how I obtained the video, but please understand that it was on Youtube. I did not upload it onto YouTube, and I do not own it. (I hope no one thought that!)

Maybe, it's still too early to call it a hoax, but for many (as you can see in the comments made on the original post) this poor creature that met some kind of an unfortunate end was merely some kind of monkey. I learned that it has 28 teeth and tests show that it is some kind on biological creature. I'm no biologist or scientist but it's starting to look like a primate; which kind I couldn't say. I've gotten many different suggestions as to what type of monkey this could have been. Let's take a look at the suggestions:

Squirrel Monkey {picture source}

Spider Monkey {picture source}

Rhesus Monkey {picture source}

Chupacabra
{no known photos}

Hybrid created by the government
{no photo}

Stoor (?)
I don't have a picture of this and am not sure what this is. I gather it's something from a Tolkien novel.

Some even commented that it looked like a bat.

{NOTE: I think some things in this story are getting "lost in translation." We're hearing conflicting stories. Please understand, I am not involved in this story personally. I am just gathering information I find on the internet and hearing on Coast to Coast AM, whatever I can gather from Joshua P. Warren. We're just messengers and you've heard the phrase: DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER! }

Unanswered Questions

Why did the rancher say that he thought this was ET? It doesn't particularly look like an alien. Did he see it coming from the sky or from a craft of some sort?
--Mr. Warren stated on C2C that this is because in the area, around the time, gray aliens were witnessed.--

Who is this mysterious rancher and what happened to him, if anything?

When exactly did this happen (date)?

Where are the pictures/videos of this creature when it was alive?
--Apparently when it was alive, it looked very different and unlike anything "of this earth."--

Who else is looking into this? (Is Loren Coleman looking into this case?)

What unanswered questions do you have?
Do you think the creature could be something that has yet to be listed (above)?

PLUS: If this is another large scale hoax like the recent Georgia Big Foot scam, should there be a law against this? What should the punishment be?

  1. Jamie Maussan did a whole UFO Congress expo on this and he had not even looked into the most basic details. Why and how does anyone believe anything Maussan presents anymore when he does very very little data checking. I am very upset that a poor monkey suffered this way and all Maussan cares about is getting a good story for his show.

  2. I first heard of this story on C2C and hadnt seen the pic up untill now. wasnt aware that the body was still in the trap. -Its body language can tell alot because it is curled in the fetal position which shows that it was in pain. -but if it drowned would the body relax before death? they claimed on the show to have more evidence, cant wait to see it. I think if it is shown to be (dead, mummified, or skinned) still caught in the trap, then the photos or video of it alive will still show it in the trap suffering. namaste

  3. Hello, the 2nd picture you pasted is also a squirrel monkey, not a spider monkey. I'd say a baby spider monkey is the ONLY primate that comes close to looking like this thing.
    I looked at rhesus http://farm1.static.flickr.com/81/242708724_0c4cf6056b.jpg?v=0 , spider http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1099/1232054193_1a1f69fce2.jpg%3Fv%3D0&imgrefurl=http://www.flickr.com/photos/charlespickens/1232054193/&usg=__40RVW1HkQwEYKc59VZMGY3tgmIs=&h=500&w=375&sz=116&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=na3IXiZ8uWPL_M:&tbnh=130&tbnw=98&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dspider%2Bmonkey%2Bskeleton%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG and squirrel monkey skeletons, the squirrel is by far the most similar.

    I also looked at a typical bat skeleton, and it is certainly not a bat. Bat's have skulls that look a lot like a rat's skull, so it's definitely not that.

  4. DonLuigi, I too am waiting to see more evidence. They keep talking about picture/video of it when alive. They kept saying that it looked so totally different when it was alive. (How do they know it's even the same thing then?) There have been all sorts of sightings of strange creatures in that area.

    Anonymous(2), thanks for pointing that out. I changed the photo. I will be adding a few more pictures.

    I too dont see that this could be a bat. I'm guessing that people might have been kidding about that. It looks nothing like a bat! (I don't recall bats having tails... not like that anyway!)

  5. Here is what Jaime Maussan and Joshua Warren claim to be a picture of it when it was alive.

    The article is on http://shadowboxent.brinkster.net/LEMUR/MexicoCreatureReport.html and also on http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-253456

    Wonder what they did to the monkey(?) to make it look like that. On second thought, I don't want to know.
