Crazy Guru Making Fatal Choices in Sweatbox Retreat

Hear first hand account of what happened in the sweatbox and what  new age/self-help guru James Arthur Ray did and said while people were dying around him. You're not going to believe this. But truth really is stranger than fiction.

What is wrong with this guy? I hope he goes to prison.

Again: What Is Wrong with Virginia Tech!?

Morgan Harrington, a junior at Virginia Tech mysteriously goes missing during a Metallica concert. To me, it looks like foul play. She got up out of her seat and wandered off to the bathroom, and for some reason went outside. Being that there is a no re-admit policy she could not get back inside. This was all before Metallica even took the stage, mind you. Did she go out for a smoke? (Did she smoke?) Was she lured outside by someone she knew? Or a stranger?

There seems to be a dark curse on the students of VT after the infamous Cho Sueng Hui mass murder spree.

What do you think is going on? Is this not rare? What other university has incident after incident like this? Or is the media just more likely to report incidents that occur at VT because of its dark history?

Now a Third Death in Guru's Sweatbox Fiasco

This isn't looking good for self-help guru James Arthur Ray, who was a past guest on Coast to Coast AM. I don't know if Geroge Noory or anyone has mentioned this at all, as I need to catch up on my streamlink mp3s.

A woman hospitalized after spending time in a sauna-like "sweatbox" has died, bringing the total fatalities to three, authorities said late Saturday.
In addition to the deaths, 18 others were injured at the October 8 event at Angel Valley Retreat Center near Sedona, Arizona.
The latest victim, Lizabeth Neuman, 49, is a Minnesota resident. She died at the Flagstaff Medical Center, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said.
There were up to 65 visitors, ages 30 to 60, at the resort attending the "Spiritual Warrior" program by self-help expert James Arthur Ray, according to authorities.
Participants spent up to two hours inside the sweatbox, a dome-like structure covered with tarps and blankets, the sheriff's office said. Hot rocks and water are used to create steam in the enclosed environment.
Fire and rescue officials received an emergency call from the resort and transported the injured by air and land ambulances to nearby medical facilities, the sheriff's office said. Two people were pronounced dead shortly after arrival at a local medical center.
A homicide investigation into the incident is under way, authorities said. The other retreat participants who were hospitalized have since been released.
Ray is widely known for programs that claim to teach individuals how to create wealth from all aspects of their lives -- financially, mentally, physically and spiritually. He has appeared on various national programs, including CNN's "Larry King Live." {CNN}

BREAKING NEWS: Ballon Boy was a HOAX!

As expected, it's been announced that the Balloon Boy was a publicity stunt! This after a search warrant was executed on the house where officers were seen removing boxes and a computer.
Lerimer county sheriff, Jim Alderden, stated in a press conference today that the charges that will be brought against the Heene parents are as follows:
  • Conspiracy
  • contributing to delinquency of a minor (Class 4 misdemeanor)
  • false reporting to authorities
  • attempting to influence a public servant

Charges have not yet been filed but it's being worked on now! I knew it. The parents deserve this. Those poor boys should have better parents than this. Don't get me wrong. I love liberal parents who let their kids explore different things but this publicity stunt goes way too far. Clearly the Heene "adults" are out for publicity. Well, I guess they got it.

According to CNN, the Heene's met in an acting class. Well, I don't know about you, but I could see right through their terrible acting: kicking things, whimpering, no real tears, deep sighs, etc.
