Elisa Lam Theories: a Death-Obsessed "Artist", Invisibility Cloak & more

I have some ideas about what happened to Elisa Lam. This will probably end up being a long post (SUPERPOST). I haven't posted in 6 months! It's coming up to the 1 year anniversary of her death and thought it would be appropriate to post this now. Lest we all forget...

In June of 2013, Lam's death was ruled an "accident" and it was stated that she was "probably bi-polar." As a refresher, her body was found in a cistern on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, CA in February 2013. But many of us do not believe that this was an accidental death. There are a number of theories floating around. But what is clear to a lot of people is that there is something not right with how this case was handled. It all played out in a very suspicious manner. There didn't seem to be a sense of urgency in the authorities. The pieces of the puzzle didn't seem to fit right. Many pieces are missing. Theories ranged from satanic ritual murder/illuminati-related to mind control victim to even a ghost killing her.

The Chinese have really been on top of this case and have come up with a lot of amazing leads. One that I decided to look deeper into was someone they fingered as a possible suspect. His pseudonyms are Morbid and Vlad666. He's a singer in a few bands: Slitwrist and Death of Desire (DoD). Apparently, his real name is Pablo Camilo. From Metal Underground:
"This douche-bag from Monterrey, MEX. who goes by the name of Morbid or also known as Pablo Camilo made us believe he was from Germany. Wannabe Nazi-Mexican. ppffft. If he feels like a man and wants to threaten us he would have stepped up last Thursday night. "Pablo, We don't beat our women here in the states. Your girlfriend simply felt safer with us and and willingly left with us. Ask her and all 5 witnesses. You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?"

The Chinese news have been on top of it also when it comes to the Elisa Lam story. Just look on Utube and you can find many in-dept investigations. Yes embarrassingly the US and even Canada (where Lim lived) have essentially buried the story... or dropped the ball, even. Here is one example of a Chinese news story (no clue what they're saying but clearly they are talking about "Morbid"):

Now here are some relevant photos I've run across while researching:
holding a gun (?) of some sort in the Cecil Hotel

Playing guitar in Cecil Hotel (note the dragon tattoo)

So it seems Vlad666 = Morbid
He sure does seem to think Elisa's death is funny!

MmmmmK.. thanks for telling us.

First one clearly alludes to the cistern, and the second mentions China.

Morbid is obsessed with the Black Dahlia. Ted Bundy is next to the MLK Jr. photo (head covering it)
I think we can safely call him MorbIdiot...

If he had nothing to do with the death of Elisa Lam, he sure is having a lot of fun with it, even though this is NO LAUGHING MATTER! He's using this to sell albums (ie. look for clues in my next album!) Disgusting how he's using her death for PROFIT! It's really pathetic how he is constantly trying to inject himself into this story if he is "innocent" and then sending his idiot fans around the internet to try to threaten people who point him out (slander, libel, blah blah blah). Sorry that doesn't work when HE is the one who put himself out there in connection to this case. I guess the flood of attention scared him.  Taking down certain posts, hiding his profile, etc. Like the people from Metal Undergound stated: he's a phony!
He wants to be implicated, to be a part of this sage. He wants you to "find more clues" in his next album. No thanks! I don't want fake clues.
Word needs to get out, and maybe more people will come out with information on what might have happened to Elisa, anything they might have witnessed, or information on this guy. But then... where should people go? Is the LAPD going to do anything with any new information? They seemed eager to be done with this case. Maybe the media? I don't know.

And let's not forget, she wrote to her friend stating that two men (Mexican and/or Italian) were stalking her. Is this Morbid (a Mexican) one of them? Was HE the one following her? There's a lot of talk on the internet about how she was a groupie and all that, but we don't know that for sure. Maybe it started out with a fascination but she soon came to regret this meetup. I have found nothing to suggest she knew Morbid online or listened to his music.

Was he even at the hotel when she was there? He states no. But who knows? Do I think he was involved? At this point I want to say: probably not. He seems only interested in theatre. Trying to scare people, you know. Growing up, I'm sure you knew death-obsessed people who shopped exclusively at Hot Topic (oh, how very goth of you!) but when confronted with actual death and tragedy they break down and can't take it. Inside they are terrified of the very things they seem to glorify.

Invisibility Cloak?

Now I know this might sound completely irrelevant but it may not be, so on the chance it actually has something to do with her demise, I will add this on. (As always: use discernment.)

So what does invisibility have to do with Lam's death? you might be wondering. Well, interestingly enough, there is a company (Invisible Light Agency) operating next to (or in) the Cecil Hotel that works with invisibility (movie special effects, invisibility technology, etc.) Lam referred to a "creepy" building next door to the Cecil Hotel. Could she possibly have been talking about this place? Also, Elisa Lam had knowledge and apparently interest enough to post a link to a news article on her Twitter about invisibility cloaks, which seemed completely uncharacteristic of her because most of her social networking posts had to do with fashion, literature, art, and her emotions/thoughts (very moody).
I think if someone was running around the halls of the hotel, completely invisible to the naked eye, it could explain Lam's bizarre behavior seen in the elevator footage. She is either hallucinating (mental illness or drugs) or she is reacting to someone that is messing with her. Some who have studied the elevator footage closely claim that at one point you can even see part of her pant leg lifting up. I looked at that part in the footage and can not say for sure that is wasn't a light trick, so will not claim that her pant leg was lifted by an invisible hand.

But think about it: How does one get away with the perfect murder? Wouldn't an invisibility cloak help greatly?
She may have been chased up to the roof and cornered or even lured somehow. If you look through her social media profiles, it seems clear that she was actually in LA to meet some guy. She didn't initially even plan to go to Los Angeles as I understand it!

Other possibilities

(I will go into these in further detail in a future post.)

There are long time residents in the hotel, if I recall anywhere from 90 to over 100 of them. The hotel owners (or would-be owners as it seems it is now owned by a bank?) wanted to kick out ALL of the long-term dwellers to convert the Cecil into a more post hipster hotel instead of leaving it as a seedy dump hotel. So perhaps one or more long-term residents hatched a hair brained plan to somehow discourage this from happening? (It doesn't have to make good, logical sense. These are criminals. Not all criminals are masterminds.)

There are many sex offenders living at the Cecil long-term, offenders of all types: rapists, pedos, etc. Could she have had an unfortunate run-on with one of these perves?

Some believe that the girl in the elevator video looks nothing like Elisa Lam. I am one of those people. But there are problems with this theory. Friends have spoken to media (supposedly, because I've only ever seen this in PRINT) and stated that Elisa definitely looks like she's having an episode of some type. They didn't say: Oh, that looks nothing like her! So you see what I mean? Either it really is Elisa Lam and the rest of us who, to be fair, have not ever seen her in person are just imagining things. OR these supposed interviews with her friends did not really occur. I mean.... how would we know? How do we ever really know when someone is quoted in print that this is an actual quote? I know firsthand because I was misquoted in a newspaper once. Needless to say, I was pissed.

Anyone think if someone puts in a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request for Elisa Lam something interesting would come up? This might be an idea for people who think this whole incident is some kind of a false flag bioterror deal (TB outbreak in LA, vaccines, biological warfare, etc.)
Of course if there was a file on her, it would be heavily redacted. But investigators in the past have been able to work with heavily redacted files to form interesting conclusions.
Just throwing that out there for anyone that might be interested.

I'll leave you with some quotes from her social networking sites

"I'm very disappointed in myself for breaking down during the term forcing me to withdraw from courses. I've been at university for 3 years and I've only managed to complete three courses. That means I've been a first year for three years and this September it will be for the fourth year because I require 30 credits in order for second year status."

"Instead I am left to wander the streets of downtown looking at frivolous things like clothing but being broke I cannot buy anything and I feel so empty. What is the purpose of owning a nicely curated closet if there is no place to wear it to? What is the purpose of reading countless articles if there is no one to discuss it with?"

"I simply have no motivation to do anything, let alone leave my bed. My computer and the internet is my one lifeline, one link to the world and reminder to look beyond my immediate situation because there is always more."
